San Francisco Bay Area Concerts

Since earsense is based in the San Francisco area, we try to maintain a convenient schedule for string chamber concerts happening in the accessible area. If you are outside the region, we apologize for not covering your area. Despite the ubiquity of web, some things are still regional due to our limited bandwidth at earsense. This is but a local service.

Nonetheless, this and past seasons' schedules are more than just a list of exciting events to attend (or events you unfortunately missed): it is a modest reflection of what is active in the professional performance repertoire. It provides pointers to important works, popular works, new works (e.g. premiers) and showcases some of the significant contemporary chamber performers. Many of these concerts are duplicated throughout an international travel schedule featuring the same performers: as a sampling of what's happening, the schedules are more than local. As time passes, they may provide an interesting historical profile of chamber music making in our times. These schedules may also provide points of departure for your own exploration right now.
